What To Expect From LEGO Jurassic Park

LEGO versions of Alan Grant and Tim look at Lex, who is covered in dinosaur snot, in LEGO Jurassic Park.

LEGO Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling will feature a brisk runtime of 22 minutes, with the special set to release on Peacock on October 10. As the trailer reveals, the general premise of the special will involve Malcolm recounting the events of the original Jurassic Park film, including the arrival to Isla Nublar, the park's loss of power, and the subsequent adventures of Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, Tim, and Lex.

The trailer also reveals that other Jurassic Park characters will be appearing in the special, including Hammond, Muldoon, Arnold, and, of course, Nedry. It doesn't look like any of the characters will be voiced by their original actors, though Malcolm's voice actor at times sounds similar to Jeff Goldblum.

In addition to the inclusion of many of supporting characters from Spielberg's classic, LEGO Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling will feature many scenes from the film as well, remixed to add a comedic flair. These scenes include the T-Rex's chasing of the jeep, Grant's flare-waving, the dino sneeze onto Lex, and even Malcolm's interaction with a giant pile of dinosaur dung. It's certainly looking like the short film will honor Spielberg's original movie while also adding plenty of laughs.
