Netflix releases The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar trailer, revealing Wes Anderson's new Roald Dahl short film. The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar is releasing with remarkable turnaround time from Anderson's last film, Asteroid City, which just released in theaters this summer. However, this quick turnaround time was possible because his upcoming work is a short film with a runtime of only 39 minutes. The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar is actually Anderson's second adaptation of a Roald Dahl story following Fantastic Mr. Fox from 2009, which is regarded as one of his best films.

While the short film adopts Anderson's aesthetic, the director doesn't lean as much on his frequent collaborators as he has in the past. This is the filmmaker's first time working with Cumberbatch, Patel, and Kingsley, who are all Oscar-nominated actors. Rupert Friend and The IT Crowd's Ayoade are also newcomers to Anderson's aesthetic.
