There is news to report about Love Is Blind season 5 couple Johnie Maraist and Chris Fox's relationship status. Viewers watched the pair's connection unfold and end in the pods, only to then watch them show up to a reunion BBQ as boyfriend and girlfriend. Johnie broke things off with Chris and went all in on Izzy Zapata, who rejected her advances. She went back to Chris, who found out she was telling him and Izzy opposite things. Chris rejected Johnie's plea to get back with him. However, they reconciled after the pods, with Johnie saying she wanted to make things up to Chis.

During Love Is Blind season 5, only two couples made it to the altar: Izzy and Stacy Snyder and Lydia Velez Gonzalez and Milton Johnson. A third couple, Carter Wall and Renee Poche made it to their wedding day, but their storyline was not aired due to sketchiness coming to light on both sides. Carter exhibited alleged violent and dishonest behavior, while Renee was rumored to have a boyfriend. What's more, another couple who got engaged from the pods, Tran Dang and Thomas Smith, weren't shown. That is because Tran sued Love Is Blind's production company for an alleged sexual assault that occurred during filming.

32-year-old Johnie is a lawyer who attended the University of Houston Law Center. She has been working in the judicial system since 2016. Johnie paints herself as having a glamorous and active lifestyle. She is also passionate about the city of Houston, where this season's experiment took place.

Who Is Chris Fox?

Chris is a 28-year-old project and development manager. He has worked for UWS Developers in Houston since 2021. On Instagram, he is verified and has 39,600 followers. He seems to love attending sporting events and likes the Houston Astros baseball team.

Are Johnie & Chris Still Together?

While Johnie and Chris showed they were in a relationship after the pods, they have since broken up. Chris ghosted Johnie after the BBQ and began seeing someone behind her back. Johnie and Chris do not follow each other on Instagram, and according to Chris during the Reunion, he has been dating the woman he cheated on Johnie with for a year, and they live together. However, Chris has not posted any pictures with her on Instagram.

Johnie appears to be focusing on herself and her social media presence. However, she did say she has been seeing someone during the Reunion, but she has kept that relationship off social media. Love Is Blind was a roller coaster for Johnie and Chris, and while it worked temporarily, their connection was not strong enough to last.
