90 Day Fiancé season 10 couple Ashley Michelle and her partner Manuel fought a lot in episode 2, which jeopardized their relationship's future. Ashley, 31, from Rochester, New York, is a professional witch. She is getting married to Manuel from Puyo, Ecuador, whom she has known for more than a decade. Ashley reads tarot, is an astrologer, and does shadow work. She was interested in the occult since she was young. When she was in her undergrad, she went to Ecuador with her biology teacher. The reality TV show pair met that very first year when he came to her and asked her to dance.

Ashley and Manuel became engaged after a week. But they couldn't make it work t when they tried having a long-distance relationship when she returned home. They spent seven years apart. It had been a week since Ashley had gotten out of a long-term relationship when Manuel reached out to her. She returned to Ecuador, where Manuel gave her a ring and asked her to marry him. Initially, Manuel wasn’t interested in coming to America, but he figured he could make good money there doing construction work. Manuel would prefer Ashley to be a catholic woman instead of a witch.

Manuel Refused To Sleep Around Ashley's Pets

Manuel declared, “Oh, I don’t like cats” the moment he saw Lyra in Ashley’s home. “Cats give me a really bad impression. I don’t like them, they are bad,” he said. He said he didn’t benefit from the cats in New York who need to be “fed and fed and fed.” He stated they aren’t of any use to him. He saw that Ashley’s bedroom didn’t have a door. He said there were “going to be problems” if Ashley’s dog Rico Suave and Lyra entered the room because he didn’t want them there. He announced, “They sleep here, I’ll sleep on the couch.” He didn’t want the dog on the bed.

Manuel Questioned Ashley's Job As A "Witch"

Ashley and Manuel had another argument on the first day of his arrival in America. This time, it was about Ashley’s job. “You’re living with a witch now, some things are going to be a little different,” Ashley told him before dinner. As per Manuel, a witch is a person “who does harm.” He explained how he doesn’t see Ashley as a witch because, back in Ecuador, they are supposed to be evil. As an example, he said if Ashley were a witch, she would have cast a spell to bring her ex back to her. “You need to understand my work is witchcraft,” Ashley told Manuel.

Manuel & Ashley Are Still Together (Did They Marry?)

Culturally, Manuel is used to telling people what to do and how to do it, while Ashley comes from a family of strong, independent women of color who aren’t used to such behavior by men. But Manuel told the cameras that if Ashley wanted him to be her partner for life, “she can’t be the only one making decisions.” Still, the couple has seemingly resolved their issues since he is still in America. Considering the show may have been filmed a while ago, Manuel being spotted at the 90 Day Fiancé season 10 celebrations in New York (via 90daythemelanatedway) on September 27, 2023, confirms he did get married to Ashley the Witch after all.
