90 Day Fiancé star Justin has a different name in Moldova, where he is from. Justin, 36, is in a relationship with Nicole Sanders, AKA Nikki Exotika, from Hoboken, New Jersey. But their relationship timeline is not like the other couples on the reality TV show. This season 10 pair met 17 years ago and have recently reunited to give their love story a second chance. Nikki first went to Moldova to meet a boyfriend who had been deported from the U.S. Once she found out the boyfriend was cheating on her, Nikki met Justin on a dating website. They were engaged on Nikki’s fourth trip to his country.

When Justin moved to the U.S. on a K-1 visa, it only took them two weeks to break up. Nikki and Justin fought a lot about him being lazy and not helping her with the housework. During one of their heated arguments, Nikki told Justin that she used to be a man. Justin was traumatized after finding out Nikki was a trans woman after two years of dating her. He had to go back home and spend years in depression until he could accept Nikki’s sexual identity. 15 years later, when both of them were single at the same time, Justin proposed again.

90 Day Fiancé Star Justin's Real Name Is Igor

Justin was introduced to 90 Day Fiancé fans via episode 2 of season 10. “My name is Igor, I am 36 years old,” said the resident of Chişinău, the capital city of Moldova. He said his friends and family call him Igor. But his fiancé from the United States calls him Justin. He works as a personal trainer. He works out five or six times a week. Fitness is important to Justin, not just to look good but to feel like a “universal soldier” and live a stress-free life. Nikki being trans makes Justin nervous because the narrow-minded people in his country could judge her when they see her wearing nice dresses with a lot of makeup.

Igor's Celebrity Resemblance Earned Him A New Name From Nikki

Justin said that Nikki renamed him because he looked like Justin Timberlake when he was younger. “It’s her version,” he added. The main reason behind Nikki rechristening him is different, however. Nikki couldn’t “fathom” the name Igor because it reminded her of Frankenstein’s assistant. So she renamed him Justin because when she first met him 17 years ago, “he did look like Justin Timberlake.” Nikki claims the name “stuck,” and now Justin loves it too.

Are Justin & Nikki Still Together After 90 Day Fiancé?

Nikki is flying to Moldova one last time before Justin arrives in the U.S. a second time on a K-1 visa. She wishes to get a better perspective on their relationship in the next three weeks. Justin has told his parents and friends that Nikki is trans, but Nikki still has apprehensions about her future with Justin and him accepting her. “I’m not moving forward again and have this same nightmare all over again,” said Nikki. She wanted to know that they would work out as a couple before Justin could come to America again.

It appears Justin proved to Nikki that he is the one for her as Nikki’s Instagram profile has several photos and videos of them together. In July 2023, she wrote a post about “getting an answer” within the next two months. While Nikki didn’t reveal if Justin has been able to make it, that’s something 90 Day Fiancé fans will find out on the show.

90 Day Fiancé airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
