Big Brother season 25 host Julie Chen Moonves thinks the new BB Comic-Week Power of Invisibility, which shields the identity of the Head of Household (HOH), will cause paranoia among the houseguests. On Thursday's live episode, Julie announced that BB Comic-Week will introduce two new twists to the game: the Power of Invisibility and the Power of Multiplicity, which will have the players "seeing double." Both of these powers will make the game more difficult for the Big Brother 25 houseguests as they will once again bring the unexpected to Big Brother 25.

In an interview with EW, Julie shared that she thinks the Big Brother 25 Power of Invisibility is "going to spread a lot of paranoia until people figure out who is HOH." She pointed out that the houseguests can start to guess who it is because they can automatically eliminate the outgoing HOH Bowie Jane and whoever the two nominees are. Julie also noted that, based on who gets nominated, the houseguests will probably be able to figure out who the HOH is. She added, "Plus, people talk, so it'll be found out. It will still cause panic though."

Julie Chen Claims Big Brother 25 Players Are Most "Flip-Floppy" Group Ever

Montage of Big Brother 25's Cameron Hardin

When Julie was asked about evicted houseguest and first jury member Cameron Hardin's alliances betraying him and what his "fatal flaw" was, Julie didn't blame Cameron, saying, "I don't really think it's his fault." She explained, "This group is the most flip-floppy, non-committal group I've ever seen. No bond feels deep or real except between mother and son Cirie [Fields] and Jared [Fields]." However, she added, "That said, Cameron talking too much probably did contribute to him having no real allies in the house."

Julie's correct that the Power of Invisibility will cause great paranoia among the houseguests. They've already made several decisions based on their suspicions of each other, some of which caused last-minute vote-flips. With only eight houseguests left, it should be fairly easy for them to figure out who the HOH is once the nominees are revealed. The HOH should be savvy about laying the groundwork to cover their tracks before the Nomination Ceremony. However, these houseguests have always had trouble keeping secrets. The Power of Veto will also be affected by a power this week, which is The Power of Multiplicity, which Julie revealed would have the houseguests "seeing double."

Julie is also right that the Big Brother 25 houseguests flip-flop their alliances more than any in recent memory. No strong alliance has dominated the game, although there are some duos who've stayed true to each other. Jag Bains and Matt Klotz have been loyal to each other in their Minutemen Final 2, but they betrayed their Fugitives alliance member Cameron the first chance they had. Showmance America Lopez and Cory Wurtenberger also seem completely devoted to each other. However, most of the other alliances have crumbled throughout the game. It'll be very interesting to see who the secret HOH is, and what chaos ensues due to the Power of Invisibility.

Big Brother season 25 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EDT, Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT, and Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
