10 U.S. Virgin Islands

Below Deck season 4 was filmed on the yacht Valor around the beautiful U.S. Virgin Islands. Some of the main islands they visited included Saint Croix, Saint John, and Saint Thomas. Whenever the guests wanted to spend the day on land or when the crew had a day off, they would sent up on one of the gorgeous islands. The U.S. Virgin Islands is surrounded by amazing beaches for tourists to visit as well, including Cruz Bay.

9 Norway

During the first season of Below Deck Adventure, the crew headed out to Norway, the first colder-weather yacht season in the history of the series. In Norway, the crew had the charter guests go out on land often to experience Norway and all the adventures the country had to offer. On land, the crew got the charter guests to go on a caving expedition, paragliding, and more. The breathtaking fjords of Norway were at the forefront of the season, as they were the backdrop during all the major scenes on Below Deck Adventure.

8 Malta

For Below Deck Med season 7, the series took viewers to Malta, an island located in the central Mediterranean Sea, according to Britannica. It's located just south of Sicily, north of Libya, and east of Tunisia. Malta is what separates Italy from the African coast. During Below Deck Med season 7, the crew took the charter guests a shore multiple times to explore the beautiful island of Malta. The country is definitely one of the most stunning places the franchise has visited in the last 10 years.

7 France

Below Deck Med season 4 is probably one of the most memorable seasons, and not only because it took place in the French Riviera. The season highlighted destinations such as Monaco, Cannes, Saint Tropez, and Nice, according to Ferry Go Go. The crew was able to easily take their guest throughout the South of France as Nice was very easily reachable by taking a ferry.

Besides the impeccable views of France, Below Deck Med season 4 also included the iconic Chef Mila Kolomeitseva. She was fired after episode 5 as it was clear Mila was not the chef she portrayed she was on her CV. Stew Anastasia Surmava took over as chef for a few charters until Chef Ben Robinson swooped in to save the season.

6 Tahiti

For the first time on the regular Below Deck series, Captain Lee and his team ventured outside of the Caribbean and into the French Polynesian country of Tahiti. Tahiti is the largest island in French Polynesia and includes black-sand beaches, lagoons, waterfalls, and two extinct volcanoes, according to Majestic Whale Encounters. The capital of Tahiti is Papeete, which the crew of Below Deck season 6 often went to when venturing ashore.

Besides taking place in a new area, Below Deck season 6 was memorable for other reasons. Deckhand Ashton Pienaar almost drowned after he was dragged into the water by a rope. Luckily, one of the cameramen on board acted swiftly and saved him before Ashton could've drowned.

5 Croatia

The Below Deck franchise has been to Croatia several times on Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Below Deck Med seasons 2 and 6 took place there, while Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 set sail in the Croatian waters as well. According to Celebrity Cruises, Croatia is known for its beaches, with almost 2,500 miles of coastline between its islands and the mainland. Some of its major cities include Split and Dubrovnik, which have been featured in the Below Deck franchise.

4 Australia

The Below Deck franchise has a new spin-off dedicated to cruising around Australia called Below Deck Down Under. During seasons 1 and 2 of the series, Below Deck Down Under sailed around the Great Barrier Reef and Cairns. This series includes a lot of underwater activities, such as snorkeling and diving, especially around the Great Barrier Reef, which was shown in both seasons.

Greece was the backdrop for two seasons of the franchise: Below Deck Med season 1 and Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 1. For Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 1, the crew visited many beaches in Croatia and mainly sailed around the island of Corfu.

Italy is one of the most visited places in the Below Deck franchise. They first set sail in Italy during Below Deck Med season 3 and, most recently, on season 8. The crew from Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 also cruised around the seas of Italy. Both series have shown several Italian cities from the Amalfi Coast, showcasing popular destinations such as Naples, Capri, and Positano. However, for Below Deck Med season 8, Captain Sandy Yawn is taking her guests throughout the Italian Riviera, which includes Sanremo, Genoa, Portofino, Cinque Terre, and more.

1 Thailand

After a successful run in Tahiti, Below Deck season 7 decided to stay out of the Caribbean again and venture out to Thailand. The crew sailed throughout the waters of Phuket while exploring stunning locations such as Phang Nga Bay, Koh Poda, Koh Phi Phi, and Koh Rang Yai. While Below Deck season 7 was memorable for its exotic location, it was also one of the most talked about seasons in Below Deck history. Not only was it Ashton's fall from grace, but long-time Chief Stew Kate Chastain's final season.
