8 Ethan Plath Hung Out At A Bar With Another Woman

Reality TV show star Ethan doesn't seem like a womanizer, so when he was spotted with a woman at a bar recently, it really raised eyebrows. While it's easy to pass judgment, there may be a lot going on under the surface. For example, he and Olivia might have formally separated. It's possible they're keeping things secret for now, perhaps for contractual reasons linked with the show, or just because they need some space while they process such a dramatic shift in their lives.

He was spotted at a Minnesota bar with a mystery brunette. The pair reportedly eschewed drinking alcohol during their outing. However, they were dancing together and holding hands. 5 Olivia's Feuding With Moriah Plath

Olivia's known for her feuds. Since she has so many of them, it's all too easy to blame her for everything. However, the truth is that she never had a fair chance in the Plath family. From day one, Kim and Barry were working against her, and making sure that she couldn't achieve her full potential as a wife, daughter-in-law, and sister-in-law. Even so, Olivia tried. She befriended Moriah Plath, who really needed her way back when. They became very close, and even traveled together.

Those good times are now just fading memories. Moriah and Olivia are openly battling, and that may be because the Plath family members know Ethan and Olivia are ending things. If that wasn't the case, they might be more diplomatic in terms of what they say and do. Since Moriah's really unloading (she's accusing Olivia of stealing her song proceeds), and talking about how Olivia's been lying about her family for years, it seems like the gloves have really come off. This could be a clue that divorce is imminent, or already happening.

4 Olivia's Feuding With Other Plaths Too

Olivia's also feuding with Barry, Micah Plath, and other Plaths. She isn't on speaking terms with Kim. Again, this makes it seem like Olivia's the problem, but Kim poisoned the waters years ago, making it so tough for Olivia to feel like a part of the family. What's happening now is just the byproduct of all that cruelty. Whenever she stands up for herself, Olivia seems like a villain, but that kind of assertiveness was needed. Otherwise, they'd walk all over her all the time. She doesn't deserve that and never did.

What if Kim really did use Ethan's credit card and not repay her son? Would that make things seem different. Yes, of course. Then, Kim would wear the black hat, and Olivia would be the wronged party. Then, Olivia would just be telling the truth. That's not a crime.

3 Sophia Meggs Has Been Talking About An Ethan & Olivia Divorce

Sophia caused a ruckus when she said that Olivia and Ethan are in the middle of a divorce. Olivia commented, denying the claims, and also said that she's not close with her sister. That's another Olivia feud, and in this case, it can't be blamed on the Plaths. While Olivia denied it, sometimes, where there's smoke, there's fire.

It's always possible that Sophia has inside information which Olivia doesn't want out there yet. If she's split up with Ethan, she may prefer to control the narrative. Olivia's got a strong sense of self, and isn't someone who will ever appreciate another family member sharing news that probably should have been kept private.

While it's possible that Sophia wasn't telling the truth, it seems odd to make something like that up. If it's not true, it's so easily disproved. So, why would she say that? In light of Ethan dancing with another woman, it seems like Sophia wasn't lying. However, at this stage, it's too early to say for sure.

2 Olivia Wanted Out Before

Welcome to Plathville showed the couple having a break, as previously mentioned. Clearly, there are marital problems. The duo tried to fix their relationship by traveling to Europe together. They got a break from the Plath family which was probably sorely needed. While that appeared to relieve some tension, it may not have been enough. Also, as soon as they returned, they learned that Moriah had moved out of their home. She didn't tell them first. That must have been such a stressful way to re-enter the fray!

Since Olivia wanted a break before, she may have really thrown in the towel now. This could be the final breakup. No, it's not confirmed, but in light of the signs discussed here, it seems to be looming. It feels like it's just a matter of time before the pair call it quits. Right now, they're in limbo.

1 Ethan Wasn't Getting His Needs Met

In the marriage, it so often seemed like Olivia was in charge. In fact, it seemed like the relationship was all about her. Ethan wanted to enjoy the simple things, like working on his cars, or hanging out with family members. Olivia was restless in Cairo, Georgia. She was sick of dealing with Kim and Barry and bored by the small-town vibes. She wanted more. That's understandable, but all the same, Ethan's needs somehow got lost. He wasn't prioritized, as she pressured him to move away from the Grady County city that he loved.

He went along with it, but was he truly happy? Maybe not. If the couple do announce their split, he may get a chance to change his life. He can live in a way that's more about him. He can find a partner who enjoys the same "little things" that he does. Olivia can look for someone who's adventurous like her. Divorce sucks, but sometimes, people are better off apart. The Welcome to Plathville season 5 pair tried, and their love story may be over. While they've been all smiles on social media in the past, Instagram is theater.
