Deadpool 3's confirmed R-rating means the upcoming MCU movie will be just as intense and brutal as the first two films. Keeping that in mind, there are several confirmed and rumored characters whom audiences would undoubtedly love to see face off with each other on the big screen. This is especially true with certain Marvel characters who've always been featured in PG-13 films.

Although an official trailer for Deadpool 3 has yet to be released, it's been confirmed that the upcoming movie will be a multiversal adventure for Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool who's finally being joined by Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. Likewise, the movie is rumored to serve as a final send-off to the 20th Century Fox X-Men franchise and more Marvel heroes who exist outside the MCU. Using both confirmed and rumored characters for Deadpool 3, here are the top 10 most brutal fights we're hoping to see in the upcoming movie.

10 Wolverine Vs Deadpool

Naturally, the biggest showdown fans are looking forward to is Wolverine taking on Deadpool, making up for the critically panned fight they had in X-Men Origins: Wolverine with its objectively terrible version of Deadpool which Reynolds has since made up for with the first two Deadpool movies. Set photos and videos having confirmed that claws and swords will be out with stabbings and limb-ripping galore. As such, it's going to be very wild to see Wade and Logan fully unleashed thanks to Deadpool 3's R-rating,

In Wolverine's case, it should feel a lot like 2017's Logan with its R-rating where the titular hero was able to show just how gruesome his claws can be. However, no one should expect there to be a victor thanks to Wolverine and Deadpool's impressive healing factors. The ability both of them have to walk away from even the most critical of wounds will likely give the fight some serious comedic charge.

9 Deadpool Vs Colossus Rematch

Thanks to his organic steel skin, Deadpool has never been able to win a fight against Colossus, the X-Man who believes in Wade's ability to become a hero more than anyone else. While Wade has tried to take on Colossus in the past, the only result has been broken limbs. As such, it would be very interesting to see a new rift between Wade and Colossus that leads to Deadpool finally figuring out how to make a dent. However, it would also be funny to see Deadpool become a complete ragdoll once more.

8 Deadpool Vs X-Men Origins: Wolverine Deadpool

Deadpool 2's post-credits scene saw Wade "cleaning up" the timeline by shooting the Origin's version of Deadpool multiple times in the head. However, the multiversal nature of Deadpool 3 could easily feature a full-on showdown between the worst and best versions of Wade Wilson. A full-on fight would be incredibly entertaining, especially considering all the stolen powers Origins' Deadpool was given from so many other mutants.

7 Elektra Vs Daredevil

It's been confirmed that Jennifer Garner will be reprising her role of Elektra Natchios from 2003's Daredevil and 2005's Elektra. As such, it's been speculated that Ben Affleck himself might make a return as Mat Murdock/Daredevil in Deadpool 3 as well. To that end, a brutal fight between the two heroes would be very entertaining (preferably one without playground see-saws). That being said, they did have a romantic relationship before Elektra's "death" at the end of 2003's Daredevil. Perhaps the duo would be united against Wolverine and Deadpool as an exciting 2v2 showdown.

6 Gambit Vs Deadpool

Channing Tatum's Gambit movie spent nearly a decade in development before it was ultimately canceled. To that end, there are rumors that Tatum might make an appearance as Gambit in Deadpool 3. Having the ability to charge the kinetic energy in inanimate objects until they explode, it would be very cool to finally see Tatum's Gambit on-screen taking on Deadpool with no holds barred.

5 Dazzler Vs Deadpool

One of the most anticipated cameos for Deadpool 3 is the rumor that Taylor Swift will make an appearance as the mutant Dazzler, a member of the X-Men who's also a major pop sensation (not unlike Swift herself). Having the ability to turn sonic vibrations into various types of light, audiences would undoubtedly go crazy if Swift's Dazzler belts out one of her songs and then fires powerful laser beams through Deadpool. She could even throw off his equilibrium using various light strobe effects so he can't even put up a fight in the first place (though who'd even want to fight Taylor Swift to begin with?)

4 Deadpool Vs Cyclops

James Marsden's Cyclops is but one of many original X-Men actors who've been rumored to appear in Deadpool 3. However, Cyclops certainly deserves justice after being so underutilized as the classic leader of the X-Men. To that end, the idea of Marsden's firing off an optic blast and putting a massive hole in Deadpool would be brutally epic, especially if he wends up wearing his more iconic blue and yellow suit from the comics just like Wolverine will be wearing in the upcoming movie.

3 Magneto Vs Wolverine Rematch

Obviously, a rematch between Wolverine and Magneto isn't much of a fight and never has been thanks to the metal adamantium covering his bones. Even when he didn't have the metal in Days of Future Past, Wolverine was still bested by the Master of Magnetism. However, one can only imagine what Magneto would do to Logan in an R-rated Marvel movie when and if he does make an appearance (with either Michael Fassbender or Ian McKellen in the role).

2 Scarlet Witch Vs Deadpool

Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch has also been rumored with the idea that the X-Men may be coming from Earth-838 first seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. As such, the MCU's Scarlet Witch could become a mutant once more as she was the daughter of Magneto in the comics. However, that wasn't the case when she and her brother made their MCU debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The Scarlet Witch could play a major role in integrating the X-Men into the MCU given her ability to rewrite reality. However, it would also be epic to see Wanda using her powers to try and kill Deadpool just like she took down the Illuminati. That said, Wade's heading factor would likely provide an additional challenge.

1 X-23 Vs Deadpool

Having first appeared in 2017's Logan, Daphne Keen's Laura/X-23 was introduced as the biological daughter of Wolverine. As such, it would be very heartwarming to see Logan and Laura potentially reunite thanks to the multiverse. However, it would also be hilarious if Deadpool had to deal with being stabbed by another set of claws when and if Kenn does reprise her role in Deadpool 3.
