Author Details
Rachel Hulshult is a writer of Star Trek Features for Screen Rant. She has an MFA in Screenwriting from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She loves getting lost in imaginary worlds, and if she's not writing, she's probably reading a fantasy novel or watching a sci-fi TV show. She dreams of working on the bridge of the USS Enterprise, but writing about Star Trek is cool, too.
She owns too many books and worked in a public library for several years before deciding to pursue writing full-time. She has also written test prep articles and study guides for Study.com.
Industry Focus
Rachel didn't truly fall in love with Star Trek until college, but she has now seen every Star Trek show and film. The Next Generation is her favorite, especially the episodes featuring Data. Of the currently airing shows, Strange New Worlds is the one she loves the most, but the third season of Picard was also amazing.
Favorite Media
Star Trek is her favorite franchise, but she also loves Supernatural, The X-Files, Stargate, The Walking Dead, Survivor, and Marvel. If she's not watching or writing about one of these shows, she's probably playing video games and/or listening to Taylor Swift.
